Spotted: FroYo Heaven

A few weeks ago Pinterest informed me that Ben & Jerry's is now making Greek Frozen Yogurt. As if that didn't excite me enough since I'm highly obsessed with the non-frozen kind, one of the flavors they have debuted is Peanut Butter Banana. This is my all. time. fave. flavor. combo. I slather PB on bananas like it's my job, eat PB & bananas sandwiches, get PB & bananas milkshakes from Cookout (to die for).

Anyways, I digress. One of my friends was spring breaking in a location with a Ben & Jerry's store and had the opportunity to taste test. I was extremely jealous and used the B&J item locator to search the greater Columbia area (and even Augusta-where MC lives) for this stuff. No such luck.

While grocery shopping tonight I decided to meander towards the ice cream despite my strict rule to never go down the frozen dessert aisle without a mission for a specific product. Thank goodness for my reckless behavior or I would have never spotted it, right there in front of my eyes, PB & Banana Greek FroYo!!! (they  also had the blueberry one--but that was quickly overlooked)

I flew back to my apartment and after putting away everything refrigerated I sat down with a dish of this treat ripped open the pint and began nomming on one of the best frozen treats I've ever had. I'm an ice cream junkie hard core. I worked at Coldstone for a summer and Bruster's for three years in college and would consider myself somewhat of an ice cream connoisseur. The froyo was a bit tangy, but being a big Greek fan I enjoyed it. The banana flavor was natural and not the awful artificial crap. The PB...I mean how can you ever get PB wrong?

Wherever you are--locate this immediately! I found it at the Walmart in West Columbia, and while that may be one of my undesired shopping spots in this town I will continue to venture there in search of this stuff. I still haven't seen the Oikos to try, but think I may have my fill with B&J.

Luckily I had enough self-control that only 1/4 of the pint is gone, let's see if it will last all week...
